NEVILLE PREDICTS HIS TOP FOUR

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has predicted his top four at the end of the current Premier League season. The ex-Manchester United right-back made his prediction on the top four in the Premier League while he was doing his punditry job on Sky Sports. According to him, the current teams in the top four will retain their position as a top-four team at the end of the present season in May. Only the top four teams in the Premier League are guaranteed a place in the Champions League next season. Manchester City are closing in on the Premier League title and they have 14 points more than city rivals Manchester United having played one more game than their neighbours. Manchester City need to win five of their remaining eight games to secure the Premier League title for the third time in the last four seasons under manager Pep Guardiola. Manchester United are in second place and are the nearest challenger with the slim opportunity of catching Manchester City at the summit. Manchester United have one more point than Leicester City in third position, while fourth-placed Chelsea are five points adrift of Leicester City. The Blues are the team in immediate danger of losing their place in the top four of the Premier League. Chelsea have three more points than London rivals West Ham United in fifth place having played one more game than the Hammers.

Gary Neville told Sky Sports that Chelsea will finish in third place behind Manchester United in second spot, while Leicester City will eventually end the season in fourth place. The Manchester United legend said West Ham United and the other Champions League chasers like Everton, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are too inconsistent to secure a top four place at the end of the season.
